Poway

We were hosted royally by  the DeDominicises at their vacation home in Poway. Joined by Chris & Den, Gerald & Laurie, Sandy & Ursilia, we golfed ( Audrey got a hole in one), explored San Diego, and enjoyed beautiful scenery on the drive back to Calgary.

Mexico

What a great time we had in Mexico in November. We were thrilled to have visits from Maureen & Robert, Lee Ann & Adina, Christine &  Dennis, Audrey & Pat, George & Valerie. We purchased fresh fish from the pescadoria and prepared yummy meals, ate out, had glorious sundowners on the beach and on the terrace, walked the beach,  and splashed in the ocean or the pool. And we enjoyed the Oscars at Marks.

Celebration

My Special Birthday Celebration began with a surprise  visit from Lan, followed by a lovely family  dinner at Strands restaurant ,then back at the Lakehouse sharing the delicious angel food cake made by Barbara, then as the focus shifted to a New Year Celebration, champagne, hats and noisemakers.

Holiday Fun

Holiday fun at the Lakehouse:downhill and X-country skiing, skating, hockey and snow angels on the lake, freezing hot springs, and  cuddles with Maggie Pearl, the newest member of our family

A Very Merry Christmas  Dinner with seventeen of our family at the City House.
