Robbie Burns Day

The 254th anniversary of the birth of Robbie Burns was occasion for "The Wearing of the Tartan". At three separate parties we enjoyed haggis and neeps and scotch and jolly celtic music.

Tres Dias Estupendos

We have had three wonderful days enjoying exercise in the frosty fresh air: 1) cross country skiing the southside of Nipika Resort, 2) downhill skiing Panorama where we still use the same "deer antler" signal to find each other on the hill that we used thirty years ago, 3) snowshoeing Chester Lake.

The new CWC Climbing Wall was a big hit with the boys and also with lorisa and LeeAnn who raced each other up and down and with " The Extreme Bean"

The Music Makers

Graham and Lee Ann played some amazing duets on Christmas Day.

Entertainment

Over the holiday we did several walks around town and on the lake, played quite a bit of hockey, did some hair-raising toboganning and celebrated the coming of the new year with much merriment.

Nipika Mountain Resort

All of us , including Pepper, enjoyed a cross-country ski day at Nipika Mountain Resort where the scenery was stunning. we had a wonderful lunch in the lodge and afterward,a delightful relaxation in the Radium Hot Springs.

Kimberley Mountain Resort

The family skied at Kimberly on Boxing Day which was sunny and warm. The hill is very scenic, the snow was great and there were no lineups! Lorisa and I were the most beautiful bunnies in our 1986 jumpsuits! There was a full moon lighting our homeward drive. Totally enjoyable for all of us.

"Playing Hockey on the Pond"

The Norgards and Taits joined us for a rip-roaring game of hockey on the lake while our turkey was cooking on Christmas Day.
