Great time on Saltspring Island. George and Valerie joined us for dinner, Lan and Dav and Pepper took us on a hike up Mt Maxwell. We experienced the Apple Festival in Fulford. All totally enjoyable
What a wonderful trip we had in the Great Bear Rainforest on Achiever with my cousin Brian. We had incredibly close viewings of Grizzlies, black bears, the very special Spirit Bear, Orcas, Humpbacks, porpoises, seals, eagles, gulls and other seabirds in spectacular forest and sea settings
Three IWW gals cycled this week on the Glenbow Ranch portion of the Trans Canada Trail. It was a perfect day for this most scenic and challenging ride.
We had a wonderful time on Lake Huron with the Pattersons. We sailed from Sarnia to Grand Bend aboard" Cowboy Limo" on a gorgeous calm sunny day. Anchored "Passages" off Pinery Beach on another glorious day ( when the Grand Bend beach was loaded with people ) and relaxed and BBQ'd on the boats, played in the water and walked on the beach. We ended the day watching a spectacular sunset. On another pleasant day we drove to Bayfield , a quaint little town a bit north, and enjoyed a delightful lunch there.
