IWW

Three IWW gals cycled this week on the Glenbow Ranch portion of the Trans Canada Trail. It was a perfect day for this most scenic and challenging ride.

Lake Huron

We had a wonderful time on Lake Huron with the Pattersons. We sailed from Sarnia to Grand Bend aboard" Cowboy Limo" on a gorgeous calm sunny day. Anchored "Passages" off  Pinery Beach on another glorious day ( when the Grand Bend beach was loaded with people ) and relaxed  and BBQ'd on the boats, played in the water and walked on the beach. We ended the day watching a spectacular sunset.  On another pleasant day we drove to Bayfield , a quaint little town a bit north, and enjoyed a delightful lunch there. Thanks Judy and John for a great week-end.

Return To The Past

JR revisited his childhood farm at the request of inquisitive grandchildren.

Emma Lake

Emma Lake was as much or more fun than ever this year: spectacular sunsets, gourmet food, jumping on  the old tractor tube, chasing Pepper,skiing, tubing, surfing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, canoeing, sailing, fishing , cruising in the Tin Princess, Mastercraft and Pontoon boats, Johnny entertaining the grandkids, Eli doing his signature dancing, improv hootenannies,  picking ( and eating ) Saskatoon berries, the muu muu reception for all arrivals ( stitched by hand by Lan from sheets that have been at the cottage for decades ), but most of all having Lucinda, Kevin, Bryn and Ellis with us after so many years.

Yamnuska

We can still climb Yamnuska Mountain. It is high and steep but the views from the top are suberb.

Lakehouse

We enjoyed a great week at the Lakehouse: Weeded, cleaned and painted the house, did a motorboat  trip around the lake captained by JR, did a float trip down the Columbia river, did a lot of golfing and great dining and had some R&R on the beach

Music

Brennan played  a  great solo with his band in the Anacrusis Music Concert
