Activities

While JR has been away golfing in Texas, I have been busy. I hiked with the CWC in the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary and lunched at Kanes, walked with the IWW riverside in Bowness and lunched at Xtreme, had a"girls night out " with all the golf widows at Earls Dalhousie Station, attended Lunchbox Theatre with Jan and lunched at Earls Bankers Hall. attended our favorite opera La Boheme with Carmen and visited all my McDonald and Tait grandchildren.

Southern Africa

Our trip to Southern Africa was quite wonderful. The scenery of Capetown, the Cape Peninsula, the Garden Route and the Drakensburg Mountains (ZA) was spectacular. The animals in Sabi Sand(ZA),the Okavanga Delta(BW), and Chobe National Park(BW) were exciting to see. Victoria Falls(ZM) and the Sossusvlei Dunes(NA) were highlights of the trip, and the sunsets everywhere were brilliant.

Violin

Lorisa is learning to play the violin. With Brennan playing piano and drums, Ryan playing piano and accordian and Graham playing accordian, piano, guitar, tin whistle and bones, they are "The Tait Family Band"

Prince Albert

The weather was pleasant and the roads were fine when JR and I paid a visit to PA where we shared some quality time with Mom. We were also able to share dinner with Maureen and Robert and JR had coffee with his Guedo cousins every morning.

Oscar's

Christine and I watched the Oscar presentations together for the sixth time since we first did so in 2004!

The Irish Descendants

The Connell's invited us to attend a concert in Ceili's Pub, given by the Irish Descendants. It was so very heartwarming to hear the lively music which renewed our fond memories of the two trips to Newfoundland which we have shared with Jack and Arlene. It also made me proud to be Irish!
