After a rainy ride on the Coquihala , we enjoyed sunshine in Vancouver, dining with Florence and Andy, and golfing and dining with Ted and Mona. In Saltspring Island Davin took a day off school to give us a private guided tour of Ganges and next day Lan and Sean took us on a "South Island" tour where we visited a cheese farm, lavender farm, new coffee shop, brewery, did a hike and shared happy hour with Ted and Daria and their Italian friends. Owen gave outstanding performances in Pinocchio and the two amazing sets were done by Lan. George and Val also attended the final performance. After a farewell dinner we motored to Comox to lunch with Pat and Angie, then sailed to Powell River to visit the Frasers and then continue along the Sunshine Coast (in the rain).In the Oakanagan we visited a car museum where JR found the car of his teen dreams, spent two glorious days at the Serenata vineyard and guesthouse near Penticton, from which we sampled and learned about wine and cycled part of the KVRT. We had lunch with Bob and Irma in Kelowna, dinner with Ellie and Lloyd in Vernon and coffee with Denis and Joanne in Armstrong. All in all we created a lot of memories.
